- Pre-departure information package for participants, including travel documents and a detailed information booklet containing local and cultural information. Note: The chaperones are responsible for facilitating the itinerary. They may choose to alter aspects of the itinerary (like sightseeing locations) during the trip and redistribute allocated funds as necessary.

Participants are required to arrange an e-SIM for the entire duration of the tour. This allows Gold chaperones to maintain contact and locate participants at all times, ensuring everyone’s safety.
Participants should be supplied with personal spending money for items of expenditure not otherwise met by the tour cost. This money allows for the purchase of lunch, snacks, drinks, and other unforeseen costs.

Leading up to the tour, participants will be invited to join three workshops, which will be a great opportunity to get to know one another, work on their school presentations, and learn about Japanese customs before departure.
Bumb Tokyo Sports Culture Center
Located in Shibuya City and within walking distance of Tokyo’s parks and cafes. This accommodation features a restaurant, hot baths, air conditioning and non-smoking rooms.
3-night Homestay
During the tour, students will have the opportunity to experience everyday Japanese life through a homestay. Students will be hosted by local Japanese families in Tokyo.
2-Day Visit to a Local School in Tokyo
Participants will have the opportunity to visit a local Japanese high school in Tokyo for an immersive educational day visit where they will participate in class activities and engage with Japanese students and peers.
FAQs
Students will be accompanied by a female coordinator and a male coordinator, as well as two support coordinators, before, during, and after departure for parents to contact 24/7.
Participants are required to organise their own travel insurance.
After submitting the form below, you’ll receive details about the video application process. Once your child is approved, their place is secured following the payment of the non-refundable deposit.
Submitting this form or a video application does not guarantee a place. Spots are limited and subject to selection criteria, consistent with standard industry practices for student tours from Australia to international destinations.
Successful applicants must submit a non-refundable deposit within 10 days following application approval and before July 26, 2026.
50% of the remaining balance is due by August 30, 2026.
The final payment is due no later than October 30, 2026.
Students will be staying at Bumb Tokyo Sports Culture Centre for 3 nights. Students will also enjoy a 3-night homestay with local Japanese families in Tokyo before departure.

Departure
Depart Perth in the evening on the start of a thrilling adventure.
Day 1
Touch down in Tokyo and dive into the excitement. Explore the bustling streets, neon signs, and a traditional restaurant dinner.
Day 2
Head out for an awesome tour around Tokyo's most historic destinations! Experience life as a Ninja in the Ninja Museum, visit temples in Asakusa, and get a birds eye view of Tokyo from Tokyo Skytree.
Day 3
Immerse yourself in an interactive 4D art gallery, TeamLabs Planets followed by free-time and shopping.
Day 4
Explore Japanese history and nature with the National Museum of Japan and world-famous Ueno Zoo.
Day 5
Set off on a day trip to traditional Hakone Village, fly through the mountains on a ropeway, and enjoy a scene tour of Mt Fuji on a pirate ship!
Day 6
Venture into Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, and witness the beauty of rural Japanese countryside. Participate in traditional temple visits and a matcha ceremony.
Day 7
Explore Shibuya, Tokyo, and prepare for the epic adventure that awaits on Day 9!
Day 8 & 9
Visit a local Tokyo school and join Japanese students in fun class activities. Dive into the school experience, make new international friends, and get ready to meet your awesome Japanese host family!
Day 10 & 11
Spend the weekend enjoying time with your homestay family and experiencing everyday Japanese culture. Say goodbye to your host family on Sunday evening to gear up for the next leg of the trip.
Day 12
First stop, shop. Then, put your knowledge to the test in an epic Amazing Race Around Tokyo! Complete interactive challenges and explore the city with your new friends. That night we'll say sayonara to Japan before departing for Perth.
