1. Terms of Entry
By entering Gold Educational Tours’ Win A Family Trip to Tokyo Disneyland 2026 campaign (Promotion), you agree to these terms and conditions (Terms).
The Promoter is Gold Educational Tours Pty Ltd (ABN 41 659 076 365) of Level 1, 4 Money Street, Perth WA 6000 (Promoter).
The Promotion begins at 9:00AM AWST, Thursday, 1 January 2026, and ends at 5:00PM AWST, Monday, 15 December 2026 (Promotion Period).
This Promotion is conducted as a Trade Promotion Lottery pursuant to the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 (WA) and the Gaming and Wagering Commission Regulations 1988 (WA).
2. Eligible Participants
The Promotion is open to persons that are:
- residents of Australia;
- at least 18 years of age; and
- an Eligible Homestay Host,
(Eligible Participant).
An Eligible Homestay Host is an person who has provided homestay (including provisions of accommodation provided in the private residence of the host located in Perth, Western Australia and the provision of meals, care, and supervision) to an international student via the Promoter’s exchange short term educational and cultural international study program in Perth, Western Australia during the Promotion Period and pursuant to the Homestay Terms which may be accessed from https://goldeducationaltours.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Host-Family-Agreement.pdf and provided upon request.
The Promotion is not open to any person that is an employee, agent, or affiliate of the Promoter or any member of their immediate family.
If requested by the Promotor, the Eligible Participant must provide evidence to the Promotor’s complete and absolute satisfaction to confirm the Eligible Participant meets the eligibility requirements set out above.
3. How to enter
There is no cost for entry for Eligible Participants. Eligible Participants will automatically participate in the Promotion. No purchase or payment is required to enter the Promotion. If an Eligible Participant does not wish to participate in the Promotion they may notify the Promoter in writing.
An Eligible Participant will be entitled to one entry into the Promotion each time the Eligible Participant hosts an international student during the Promotion Period. However, if the Eligible Participant concurrently hosts more than one international student at the same time during the Promotion Period, then the Eligible Participant will only be entitled to one entry in the Promotion for that concurrent period.
4. Prize Details
The Promotion will only have one winner. The total prize pool is valued at up to a maximum of AUD$10,000 and includes:
- 4 x Economy class return tickets from Perth to Tokyo (Narita or Haneda, as determined at the discretion of the Promoter) valued at up to AUD$1,500 per person;
- 2 Twin rooms for 7 nights of accommodation in a 4-star hotel in the Tokyo metropolitan area for up to four persons, valued at up to AUD$1,000 per person as selected by the Promoter; and
- One (1) Tokyo Disneyland Family Pass (2 adults + 2 children),
(Prize).
For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include:
- additional spending money;
- additional flights;
- transportation;
- meals,;
- incidental hotel charges; and
- entertainment.
5. Prize Conditions
All bookings and inclusions regarding the Prize must be made via the Promoter’s chosen travel agent.
This Prize is valid for travel until July 2028. The winner requests their preferred travel dates in writing at least 4 months in advance of the time the winner wishes to travel.
Travel cannot occur during the following peak periods:
- Golden Week (April 29 – 6 May 2027);
- Obon Festival (10 August – 16 August 2027);
- Christmas–New Year period (15 December – 11 January 2027); and
- any other dates as reasonably determined by the Promoter
(Ineligible Travel Dates).
If the winner wishes to travel during the Ineligible Travel Dates, the winner may pay the costs of travel that exceed the Prize value as agreed between the Promoter and the winner.
All travel is subject to availability and may be dependent on specific booking classes with airlines or specific room categories available, as determined by the Promoter.
If suitable dates cannot be booked or agreed upon between the Promoter and the winner within six months of the Prize draw, the Prize may be redrawn by the Promoter.
Hotel and airline selection is at the sole discretion of the Promoter, subject to availability and other reasonable considerations.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in these Terms, the winner is solely responsible for all costs and organisation relating to their travel, this includes but is not limited to transport, passports, visa, travel insurance and spending money. Any upgrades (including for flights and accommodation) will be at the winner’s expense.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be substituted or exchanged for cash or altered in any way.
6. Winner Selection
The winner of the Prize will be determined between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM AWST on Tuesday, 16 December 2026 by drawing a name at random from the prize box at the prize desk on Level 1, Money Street, Perth WA 6000.
An independent person will draw the winner. Eligible Participants are welcome to attend the draw. The draw will be filmed. The draw will be posted and the winner announced on the Promoter’s social media page, which can be accessed here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1019371855366614/ . The winner will also be notified by email to the email address registered with the Promoter within 7 days.
A person purporting to be the winner of the Prize must provide proof of identity to verify they are an Eligible Participant to the satisfaction of the Promoter.
7. Prize Redemption
The winner must claim the prize within 30 days of the date of the draw or a redraw will occur.
8. Warranties
The Eligible Participant warrants that they are:
- a resident of Australia;
- at least 18 years of age; and
- an Eligible Homestay Host.
9. Exclusion of Liability
The Promoter is not responsible for any liability, loss, damage or costs associated with any change to the value of the Prize.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and their related bodies corporate, directors, officers, employees, contractors or consultants are not liable for any loss, costs, expenses or damage which is suffered or incurred by an Eligible Participant or any third party arising out of or in connection with the Promotion.
10. No warranty or representation
The Promoter makes no representation nor provides any warranties as to the quality or suitability of the Prize offered.
11. Privacy and personal information
The Promoter will collect and hold personal information (including name, email, date of birth and mobile numbers) about Eligible Participants for the purposes of the Promotion which will be collected and maintained in accordance with applicable law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Eligible Participants consent to the Promoter collecting and retaining their personal information for the purposes of conducting the Promotion including notifying Eligible Participants of the winner.
The winner consents to their name, image, and trip footage being used for promotional purposes for the Promotion or other promotions that may conducted by the Promoter in the future. If the winner does not wish for the Promoter to use such, they may notify the Promoter in writing.
Subject to applicable laws, the Promoter reserves the right to modify or cancel the Promotion.
12. General
The Promotion is governed by the laws of Western Australia.
Records in respect of this Promotion will be kept by the Promoter for 12 months from the date the Prize is drawn in accordance with these Terms.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify Eligible Participants that breach of these Terms or commit fraud.
This Promotion does not apply in conjunction with any other offer made by the Promoter or its related bodies corporate.
Subject to applicable laws, the Promoter may amend these Terms at any time before the Promotion Period ends.
